We were able to have Grandma come and visit last week to spend some time with us and help out before the baby gets here. She was really a lot of help with Maxwell and gave me a little break so that I could catch up on my rest and housework. We really love having her visit and she plans on coming out again when Mallory is born. We did all of the exciting and fun things you do when grandma comes to town...Chuck-e-cheese, Frying Pan Park, shopping, Karate, Build-a-bear, and date night. Max really attaches to Grandma when she comes and would rather spend time with her than with me. Thank you Mom, for all of the work that you did and all of the fun goodies that you got for us. Sad to say though, since she took all of the pics you are about to see then she is not in any of them. We will have to take a lot of pics of her next time she is out.

Max and Grandma suprised me one morning with green eggs and ham for breakfast. They made the eggs out of playdough. Max thought it was the funniest joke ever!

Our little Cowboy! Uncle Scott would be so proud.

Maxwell will be starting preschool this fall at this little old schoolhouse that is built on the famous Frying Pan Farm. It is a 4 room scoolhouse built in 1911 and stands on the lot where the original one-room schoolhouse was built in 1876. He is so excited to start his school.

We have also started Maxwell into a quick summer program for karate. He will be learning Tae Kwan Do (sp?) 3 times a week until school starts. Uncle Scott and Uncle Jeff would both be proud to know that he is following in their footsteps. He loves it! Maybe we will put a video of him doing his karate sometime soon. It is hilarious. He loves kicking and punching and will do it the whole class period if his teachers would let him.

Yeah, for grandmas! She must live close to be able to come so often?
I didn't even think to look into preschool for Adam at Frying Pan Park. Is there a long waiting list...I bet there is?
That will be so good for you to have that time a few days a week just you and your lil' baby girl. :) She's almost here....
We are thankful for Kung Fu...just kidding! We still laugh about Max saying that at the reunion. Awww, good times!
Max has gotten so big. He looks just like Matt!
I bet you're SO ready for Mallory to be here... didn't Max come several weeks early? Maybe she's just too comfortable in there. :)
I love Mom's. They always know just what we need. How are you holding up? Ready to have another one? I'm not. I still have a few months though. We want to hear as so as you're all safe and happy. Make it one Sunday and then Lena and Mallory can have joint birthday parties - it we ever live close enough.
xoxo Kathleen
