January and February

Mallory and Clay in our La-Z-Boy recliner.  I spend many nights rocking our little Clayton to sleep.  He is not as good as a sleeper as our other two children were.
Our one big snowfall this winter.  We have a super small hill in our backyard and a larger one in the school park behind our house.  The kids had fun playing and sledding in the snow.

Maxwell had his first friend birthday party this year.  Matt took the 4 boys to a movie and then back to our house for pizza and cake and ice cream.

Grandma made a surprise visit (well, surprise for the kids) to our house for a few days.  We enjoyed every second and did all of the fun things we get to do when Grandma comes to town. Golden Coral, Chuck-E-Cheese, Dollar Tree, and some time for her to spend with the kids while Matt and I went on a date to the Charity Ball at Purdue.  I was able to go shopping alone to find my dress and shoes.  It was wonderful!  It is amazing how many stores you can shop without kids. We had a great time.

Grandma gives the kids foot massages with her special oils and they look forward to it every night.

Matt celebrated the big 3-2 on Feb 28. He had a final that day so we celebrated the next day on Leap Year day.
