Boston Friend Reunion

Matts friends from his teen years came to spend the weekend with us. Sean Zeller and his fam, Rick Doane and his fam, and Ben Arkell w/o the fam. We had a great time with all 12 of us in our house and walking around DC. We tried to pack in as much as we could in the few days that they were here. In this first pic of us walking around you can see the street lined with cherry blossoms for the festival.

Nothing will impress President Obama more than Sara's dancing and Maxwell's karate.

Max was trying to recruit people to help him hold up this heat shield in the Air and Space museum. The only takers were Sara and Sean.
The mode of transportation for the children. Much better than Segways anyway.
Max and Sara taking turns kicking each others trash in Boxing on the Wii.

Ben, Rick, Matt, Sean
The whole gang after the tour of Capital that Rick set up for us. Thanks Rick!
Playing dress-up in the basement. What boys can play dress-up too.

Maxwell and Sara played so good together all weekend. Maxwell has never played so well with anyone as he did with Sara.
The two babies of the group. Mallory and Matthew.

We are definitely planning a trip to MA to visit the Zellers and Doanes sometime in the next year.

So glad that you have made and kept such good friends. You are wise to try to stay close throughout your life. Friendships bless you life and, as the Germans say, "alte freunde sind gute fruende" Old friends are good friends. Love, one of your OLDEST friends ---Gramma
