Purdue had a "Breakfast with Santa" event and we had breakfast and did the games and activities but didn't actually see Santa because the line was too long and most if not all of my kids are afraid of people dressed up in costume.
Making gingerbread houses is always a fun tradition.
On Christmas eve after we opened up our Christmas jammies we acted out the Nativity with Little People while Matt read the Nativity Story.
Every year in downtown Lafayette they have a Dicken's Christmas Festival complete with actors re-telling the Christmas carol story and horse drawn carriage rides around the city.
