Purdue Football Fans

We have become die-hard Purdue Football fans in the short time we have been here.  Our wardrobe is made up mostly of Purdue gear (sorry BYU).  We go to most of the tailgates on Saturdays and Matt has already been to 3 football games this year.

The kids trying to get out of the hot sun by some random RV we found.  They were cleaning up the tailgate party and took down the tent so we had to find shelter.

This is a picture of Clay making his Choo-Choo noise when he hears the Boilermaker Train sound.  The mascot at Purdue is the Boilermaker Special which is a train that drives around town and blows its whistle everywhere.  We spot it all the time and especially on game day. It was one of Clays first words/sounds. We also live near railroad tracks so we can often hear the real train on the tracks and our kids believe it is the Boilermaker Special.
This picture was taken last year in August before school started at the Krannert Picnic. They were giving rides on the Boilermaker Special and Matt took the kids.
The Purdue Marching Band marches right past our the Krannert Business School tailgate tent on their way to the outdoor stage to put on a pre-game show.

The Boilermaker X-tra Special.  A smaller version of the Boilermaker Special.

The band pre-game show at Slater Hill Ampitheater. I think Matt got a little misty eyed when they play the Purdue Fight Song.

What's up with Clatyons sideways smile?
