FIRST TIME

Mallory had her first hair cut on Tuesday, August 16, 2011.  She had long beautiful curly brown hair and we let it grow so long until it became unmanageable.  She likes to twirl her hair in her fingers and she would end up tying it in little knots that had to be cut out.  She still likes to twirl her hair but without the knots.  We had 5 inches cut off.  It still has some curls in it but the ringlets are gone.  Now she looks like a real girl and not a toddler.  She looks like she could be ready for kindergarten.

 Maxwell on the first day of first grade in Indiana on August 16, 2011.  He was very excited to get back to school after a short summer and he wanted to meet some new friends.
